Shortcuts wrongly detected

I have replaced a long list of duplicate files by shortcuts. When I search the same folder afterwards I get a very long list of exactly these shortcuts if there have been 3 or more identical files as there are 2 or more identical shortcuts with different names.
Is it possible to suppress those shortcuts ????
