NoClone 2007 (home edition) v4.1.35.0 (registered) - takes a very long long time to do true byte by byte comparisons

Running MS Vista, 32 bit, quad core @ 3ghz, 4gb ram, sata hard drives, clean reboot.

I am trying to do a exact-content duplication file scan of my c:\ drive for digital photos.  In fact, I have it searching my C drive, then single file type of *.orf.  Each file is roughly 13MB each give or take, but its just not doing anything.

I see the analysis of the filesystem yielded 11728 files but it is not processing or looking at anything nor do I see anything system cpu being used.  Memory is, of course, but nothing else.  It just sort of sits there and takes forver.

The main reason why I purchased the program was to remove some duplicate digital photo's I have to save hard disk space, etc.  Same with our cd collection.  However, it does not appear to be processing anything very quickly if at all.  I'd wager its stuck at the moment.

I disabled antivirus in case that was getting in the way.  Is there another recommended way to look at duplicates other than exact content?  I thought that was the recommended way.

Thanks for any help and/or information.
