I just upgraded to Noclone 2007, and have a serious problem. I did a search that involved about 27,000 files/48GB. The search only took about 20 minutes, which is about the same as the old version. But when trying to delete the duplicate files, everything slows to a crawl. After an hour, the progress bar had barely moved. At this rate it would take about 10 hours just to delete the files.
I checked the resource monitor. NoClone is using 99% of all resources. Nothing else is running in the background. And all four cores of my CPU ramp up to 100% and stay that way even after stopping the search. It doesn't drop unless I shut down the program. Hard drive activity is minimal, and RAM usage is below 50%.
I am running a PC with an Intel 2.4GHz quad core CPU with 4GB RAM.
I did not have any problems previously with the old version.
