SYMPTOMS
When you search inside C:\Program Files and/or C:\Windows (where C is your system drive), for exmaple,C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery, no duplicate files were found.
This information dialogue prompt: System folders are protected by default. If you want to scan system folder, click 'Excluded path' and uncheck the option 'Protected system folders'. Do you want to change excluded path setting now?
CAUSE
System folders are protected by default to prevent accident removal of system files.
RESOLUTION
To remove protection of system folders:
1. Execute NoClone. Press the option ‘Exclude Path’ on the left panel.
2. Check the path “c:\Program Files\*.*” and press the ‘-‘ button. Uncheck the option ‘Protect system folders’ and click ‘Ok’ to continue. Remove “c:\Windows\*.*” (if you are going to search inside Windows folder).
3. A diagloue box will prompt when you uncheck the option ‘Protect system folders’. Please choose ‘Yes’ for the option.
4. Start a new search with the path of Windows Photo Gallery (C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery).
TIP
Data files are recommended to inside "My Documents" folder.
