lost data - lots

i downloaded this to try comparing some large drives i have. it took several hours, and i ended up deleting a lot of duplicate photos, music, etc. everything was fine. then i rebooted my computer, and before rebooting it notified me "noclone.exe" was still running, even 45 minutes later!! so i "ended program" to reboot (figuring the scan, mark, deletion, and summary had already completed successfully long ago), and it totally screwed my system. when i rebooted, chkdsk deleted about 400GB of non-duplicate data on one of my hard drives, due to corrupt indexes and orphaned segments. ugh. i'm very displeased. this is horrendous action for a program of this type. imagine if there was a power outage or something when someone was using this program. and what the heck is the program doing 45 minutes after the duplicates have finished being deleted???? man, i'm pissed.

Dear Zeiss,

Please do not terminate NoClone when it is operating, as NoClone is running comparsion, terminate NoClone may cause lost of data like your case. As you have mentioned that the lost date is about 400 GB and it should takes some times for NoClone to search for dulpicates, depends on the directories (volume, complexity) you chose and your settings. Would you mind telling us more details on your settings and your environment to help us to provide you a instant solution?
