I too keep getting this error. Had I known, would not have bought the software.
Has anyone heard of a bug fix yet?

Forum: Bugs Reporting Forums
Posted: Nov 16, 9:12 AM [GMT 8]
Post Subject: Re: database connection error Please try to restart NoClone
Post author: iliff
Just happened to me too. as for the database connection error message, you can try to select "new search" in search session to restart the scan. as for the error while savespace, can you give me the exact error message?
thanks for your report

I concur. Had I known... I have not been able to effectively use this program at all because of this error. What a disappointment...

Hello:
I am also getting an error message along those lines: Database connection error! Please try to restart NoClone.
I have attached a copy of the error message in PDF format which is quite long. Please review it.
It happens when I try to define the search criteria or soon after search results have been displayed.
I have tried several times deleting the NoClone.log and the NoClone.mdb files from my 4.1.33 folder as follows:
"C:\Documents and Settings\"User"\Application Data\Reasonable Software House Ltd\NoClone 2007\4.1.33\
This procedure appears to work, but only temporarily. That is to say, it works on the first attempt when re-defining the search criteria, but it again crashes after search results have been displayed, or the program would crash when performing a new scan.
I have a registered NoClone 2007 Version 4.1.33.0 (Enterprise Edition).
I would appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you very much.
