Clear instructions and better user interface please!

The instructions and user interface for this product could do with some input from a working group of users, as:
(i) the instructions do not appear to be complete;
(ii) there is a lack of working examples that reflect real life situations (based on the CURRENT product version).
(iii) language used in the menu options is vague, leaving learning to be a frustrating black-box experience.
(iv) I would like to be able to mark items through out the rest of the disk which duplicates what I put in a specific source area, although I do NOT want the files within either area searched for duplicates. Just take the list of files to check against from the source area, marking those in the destination area for action.
