"A generic error occurred in GDI+"

I purchased NoClone yesterday and have successfully cleared all duplicates from an external harddrive I use to just dump backups to at irregular intervals (cleared over 10,000 files), as well as on several thumbdrives.

I am now trying to clear duplicates on the main hard drive and the external drive. NoClone gets to "Indexing Search result" then the message "A generic error occurred in GDI+" pops up.

I am running Vista Business with all recommended updates installed. I have tried removing and reinstalling NoClone but the same thing happens.
