Similar File Search hangs

When I do a search for exact content duplicates of a directory, it completes quickly and without error.
However, if I search the same directory for similar files (95% or 90%) NoClone says, "comparing 32 of 3000 susptected files of size 4.3 mbyte, estimate 00:00:08 left.
I waited hours for it to change, but it didn't.
Has anyone had this happen?

Brad,
4.3mbyte? you may have lots of files of the similar size, so you have to be patient, let's wait for a few hours. Please reply.

After letting this run overnight it finally completed. It actually worked well...the problem is there is no progress indication and the program appears to hang. There is a need to improve the performance of this function and/or make the progress indication accurate.
