Hi - installed, run a search, marked the dupes. Tried performing NTFS hard link option, No files changed. Tried Deleting, leaving shortcuts - No files changed.
If I try an NTFS hardlink run I get errors like this (on EVERY file)
DefaultSource Error 2 Could not find a part of the path '\\gns01\public\DHerse\3\Three Clips\Sykpe'. at
System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.Directory.InternalGetFileDirectoryNames(String path, String userPathOriginal, String searchPattern, Boolean
includeFiles, Boolean includeDirs, SearchOption searchOption)
at System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(String path, String searchPattern, SearchOption searchOption)
at NoClone.SearchEngine.FilesSearch(SearchArgs SrchArgs)
If I run a Delete + Leave a shortcut I get
DefaultSource Error 2 Value of '\\gns01\public\kcaly\Yakult\contagion-MPEG-1.mpg' is not valid for 'filePath'. at
System.Drawing.Icon.ExtractAssociatedIcon(String filePath, Int32 index)
at System.Drawing.Icon.ExtractAssociatedIcon(String filePath)
at NoClone.FileAction.ReplaceByShortCut(BackgroundWorker& worker, RecycleOption AllowUndo, Int32& TotalNumFile, Int64&
TotalFileSize)
I'm running XP Pro, domain Admin, operations performed are on my main LAN file server
p.s. this is a newly registered Enterprise version
