I forget how many years ago that was, but I'm going to guess that it was about 4 years ago. I'm fairly sure that it was version 1.0 I'm a very demanding user with most software and duplicate searching software is no exception. I was very pleased with how well NoClone worked then and even wrote in and had prompt responses and actions taken on the correction of, a couple of minor bugs that I ran into. I really felt that the progress of NoClones development was exceptional then and believe that it's evolved into becoming one of the best products on the market. However, I'm very displeased to find that you currently have limitations on the trial version. Due to the fact that many of the products out there work fine on small numbers of files, but fail on the larger tasks, your decision to limit processing to just 30 files, I think is not a good idea. I've tested a lot of similar software and found, (on many of those other products), a very common failure to be during the copying, moving, or deletion processing, of large groups of files. Because of that, I feel that the only true way to be able to test yours, or anyone’s products capabilities, is to not have any limitations whatsoever. For that reason, I'll only be recommending NoClone to people on a "if all else fails, try this" basis and will instead suggest that they try a couple of other, (comparable), products first. Products that I've also thoroughly tested and had good results with. Products that don't have any trial limitations. - Hope you will come to change your policy. - Thanks - Frank    Report
