I am having trouble understanding cabinet (CAB) file compares. NoClone 4.0 identifies some CAB files as duplicates. NoClone 3.2 says they are not. Files are 423 MB, under the 2 GB limit for NoClone 3.2, which identifies them as same name non-duplicates.
I am afraid to delete them.
Older compare software I have say files are not duplicates. Byte-by-byte compares show differences.
Does the 4.0 true file compare actually go into the CAB file and compare the "members" like it compares files within directories? If so, this is an awesome product!
