Hmm [^o)] Home user with external hard drive
Reply Quote

Hello,

I purchased your product after trying the demo and really liked it. I have an external hard drive that holds my MP3 files using a Linksys NSLU2 (Network storage link). I have it setup as a lettered networked drive and the demo worked fine, but now it does not work and states that I need an enterprise edition.

I am a home user and do not think I should have to pay a higher price just because I don't like to keep my files on a local drive.

Any suggestions (besides purchasing the enterprise edition)?

Thank you,

Darin Klein

If you own an NoClone Home Edition License now, you do not need to throw away the home edition and purchase a new NoClone Enterprise Edition. Instead, you can click http://noclone.net/mybuy_upgrade.asp to upgrade the current NoClone Home Edition to Enterprise Edition. It just cost US$24.80 and it save US$24.00 from purchasing a new NoClone Enterprise Edition.

Please be noted that after you have successfully upgrade NoClone from Home to Enterprise Edition, you can use either one of the editions in one computer only.

I agree with Darin.  A home user should mean a product is for use by one person in their home for personal, not business use.

Everyone has more than one computer now!  I refuse to play this marketing game.

A lost customer.

Agree.

We will have a new pricing model for next release:

What do you think?

We are now working hard to address the scalability issue.

In the meantime, you can contact our account executive to arrange the pricing with you.
