Hi the more I use it, the more I appreciate it!!

I also find ways to improve an already excellent product!

1) In the results screen it would be nice if one selects a file to right click and select ALL files in the directory or ALL duplicate (same name, Non-duplicates etc....) in the directory. It would mean that one would not have to go to smart marker to select that directory and then go back to the result screen again.

2) i'm sure I read it somewhere and it may already be in your future wish list, but I have manually had to delete about 500 mp3 files as the id3 tag had been changed, the music was the same, this could also be a problem on image files where the EXIF or IPTC data has been changed but the image remains the same. It would be excellent to know that the image/ mp3 etc is the same but the difference is in the headers only.

I am glad that you like NoClone.

This feature once appear in v1.x but when more options for Smart marker, we put those options in a dialogue box. I think your suggestion with mark by folder called from menu sounds good. We will consider adding it. In v4.0, smart marker will no longer appear in a dialogue box but a panel that allows you to switch between result files and Samrt marker. See attachment, Smart marker will be located at the bottom-right pannel.
Yes, this is suggested. In addition to mp3 and jpeg, Microsoft Office documents have this issue. Just open and close without saving, the header changed. In the meantime, you can enable "simple fuzzy match" to ignore little difference and uncover more similar duplicate files.

2) That certainly helped but another suggestion on this line of thought:

For me to do a real good clean up, it would be good to do (in one go) both byte by byte and fuzzy match with them appearing in different tabs eg duplicates byte and duplicates fuzzy (but not byte). I would then immediately know which ones are true dupes and can be immediately deleted and those which have been fuzzy matched but are not byte by byte identical as at present the fuzzy match will also bring up true duplicates.

I have just downloaded Version 4 and will run it through it's paces. Did you implement anything with regard to the header problems eg in Office docs as well as song title changes (but not the actual mp3 music) also on images etc.
